Galvanizing Specifications

Australian Professional Galvanizing ( North Queensland) is located @ 17-21 Hunter St. Stuart Industrial Estate in Townsville. The plant services an area from Cairns in Far North Queensland to the Central Queensland coast and the Bowen Basin region. All the plant’s hot dip galvanized coatings comply with Australian Standard AS/NZS 4680:2006.

  • The galvanizing bath absolute dimensions are: Length: 12.5 metres
    Width: 1.6 metres
    Depth: 2.8 metres
  • All items need to fit inside this bath so think 50mm clearance each side minimum. The plant has the capacity to process 4000 tone per month
    of steel.
  • Maximum double dip length. 20m metres depending on beam web height.
    Maximum double dip frame. 5.2m metres wide 12m and under long.
    Maximum lifting capacity 20.0 tonnes
